Methodology

A communicative, learner-centred course: you experience the very methods you can adopt with your own students — task-based activities, real communication and active practice rather than passive grammar drills.

You'll work in small international groups of education staff from across Europe, sharing approaches across subjects and systems. Trainers are experienced practitioners who model the techniques you'll use, and afternoons extend the learning through Dublin's cultural programme.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the week you will be able to:

  • Communicate more fluently and accurately
  • Use a broader professional and classroom vocabulary
  • Speak with greater confidence
  • Apply communicative techniques in your own classroom
  • Draw on real cultural insight into Ireland
  • Leave with a personal language action plan
