Accreditations and Memberships

 

ACELS

 

ULearn is recognised by ACELS (www.acels.ie), a service of Quality and Qualifications Ireland, for English language teaching (ELT). ACELS (the Accreditation and Co-ordination of English Language Services) is currently the body responsible for the development and management of an inspection/ recognition scheme for English Language Teaching organisations (ELTOs) nationally. ACELS was established in 1969 under the auspices of the Irish Department of Education & Science to control standards in ELT schools and organisations through an inspection/recognition scheme.

 

Marketing English in Ireland (MEI)

 

ULearn is also a member of Marketing English in Ireland (www.mei.ie). Marketing English in Ireland (MEI) is an association of 52 recognised English Language Institutions in Ireland. MEI Member schools are inspected and recognised by ACELS, through the service of QQI. MEI schools also espouse Learner Protection, thereby guaranteeing students that they will be able to complete all language courses for which they are enrolled. MEI members must adhere to MEI rules, regulations and standards.
